Just thought I would jot this down for anybody getting the error message "Invalid MAC Address" when reserving IP addresses on their Netgear Router.
When I googled this I found a lot of solutions suggesting modifying config files and restoring from them - just too much trouble for a lazy chap like me. I got to pondering and reckoned that the address validation is done by javascript when you submit the page, not by the routers serverside software.
The easy solution is to enter the mac address that you want, disable javascript in your browser and then submit the reservation, now re-enable javascript and you are done. Jobs a diamond.
